　　Dad's car was a muddy mess.

　　父亲的车上尽是泥。

　　There was mud on the top.

　　车顶上有泥巴。

　　There was mud on the tires.

　　轮胎上有泥巴。

　　There was mud everywhere!

　　车上处处都是泥巴！

　　Jake's bike was a muddy mess, too.

　　杰克的自行车上也尽是泥巴。

　　"Hey, Dad," Jake said.

　　“嗨，父亲，”杰克说。

　　"I can help you clean your car.

　　“我可以帮你清洗你的车。

　　Then you can help me clean my bike."

　　然后你可以帮我收拾我的自行车。”

　　"That is a good plan," Dad said.

　　“那是个好方案，”父亲说。

　　Dad got two pails.

　　父亲拿来了两个桶。

　　He gave one pail to Jake.

　　他给了一个桶给杰克。

　　Dad put soap in the pails.

　　父亲在桶里放了点番笕。

　　Then Jake filled the pails.

　　然后杰克装满水。

　　Dad and Jake washed the car.

　　父亲和杰克冲刷了轿车。

　　Dad washed the top.

　　父亲洗车顶。

　　Jake washed the tires.

　　杰克洗轮胎。

　　"Look at all this mud," said Jake.

　　“看这些泥土，”杰克说。

　　"We need more soap."

　　“咱们西药更多的番笕泡。”

　　Jake and his dad washed the mud off the car.

　　杰克和他的父亲把车上的泥土都冲刷下来了。

　　Then they washed the muddy bike.

　　然后他们清洗了尽是泥的自行车。

　　"My bike is nice and clean," said Jake.

　　“我的自行车有秀丽有洁净，”杰克说。

　　"My car is clean, too," said Dad.

　　“我的轿车也洁净了，”父亲说。

　　"Let's go eat lunch!"

　　“咱们去吃午饭吧！”

　　"On, no!" said Mom.

　　“哦，不！”母亲说。

　　"Now you two are a muddy mess!"

　　“如今你们俩脏的尽是泥了！”
