The Greedy Dog

　　贪婪的小狗捡到了一块骨头，在河滨它看到另外小狗有一块更大的，它非常想得到那块更大的骨头。

　　Dog was always hungry.

　　小狗常常感触很饿。

　　One day, he trotted to the market.

　　一天，它跑进了一个商场中。

　　He spotted a bone.

　　它发现了一块骨头。

　　“Look at that bone, ”Dog barked.

　　小狗汪汪叫着，“看那一块骨头，”

　　“I want it !”

　　“我想要它!”

　　No one was looking.

　　没有人看在那块骨头。

　　Greedy Dog grabbed the bone.

　　贪婪的小狗叼起骨头。

　　“Hey !”Then he ran away.

　　“嘿!”然后它快速地走开了。

　　He ran and ran.

　　它一向跑呀跑呀。

　　“I’m so clever !”

　　“我真是太聪明晰!”

　　Soon, he came to a river.

　　Dog looked into the water.

　　小狗垂头看向了河水里。

　　He saw another dog!

　　它看到了另一只小狗!

　　“That dog has a bigger bone,”he thought.

　　“I want it ! ”

　　He growled at the dog in the water.

　　小狗对着河水里的狗吼怒着。

　　The dog in the water growled back.

　　河水里的狗也对着它吼怒着。

　　He barked at the dog in the water.

　　它对着河水里的狗汪汪吼怒着。

　　The bone fell out of his mouth.

　　骨头从它的嘴里掉了出来。

　　The other dog vanished.

　　另一只小狗不见了。

　　“Oh no ! ”barked Dog.

　　“哦，不!”小狗叫着。

　　“Now I have no bone at all.”

　　“我如今一根骨头也没有了。”

　　There was no dog in the water.

　　河水里根柢没有小狗。

　　It was Greedy Dog’s reflection all along.

　　那只是贪婪的小狗的影子。

　　“I’m so silly ! ”

　　“我真傻!”
